Grassroots are a family run business based on the outskirts of Bath, who love to make practical and pretty products. They make all their products from a high quality fabric in oil cloth which is wipeable to make life easier.

Their products range from aprons, bags, for children and adults, accessories, and much more.  If you are looking for a gift for a friend or just a treat for yourself, you're bound to find something from Grassroots. All their products are individually handmade by the Grassroots team: Valerie, Teresa and Stacey.

"We found it difficult to source good quality, wipeable aprons for children, so we sought about designing and making our own. This soon took interest from mothers and childminders who asked us where we got them from. And so began Grass Root Gifts!

Linda Alvis lives and works in Bristol, which she feels is a privilege. With panoramic views over the City from her studio, she is continually inspired by its landscape and the familiar Hot Air Balloons.

Over the years Linda has travelled the world extensively. Countries she has visited, their peoples and landscapes provide her with rich material.

Linda's work includes pastel landscapes, portraiture, still life, photography, writing and poetry. At this year's Christmas at the Orangery Linda will also be selling her coasters, placemats, greetings cards and a Bristol design 2016 calendar.

Linda has just produced a children’s book ‘Worrall and Robin‘ that was recently published and will be available to buy at Christmas at the Orangery.

Linda also holds a weekly pastel painting group in her studio/gallery, plus she also welcomes commissions.

Gabriels Crafts was born out of an appreciation of beautiful, hand-crafted, European decorations and has grown into a thriving small business selling an amazing range of these traditionally made and sought after gifts.
Christmas Pyramids, Tree Decorations, Candle Holders and Nutcrackers are just some of the traditional Christmas decorations we sell that are made in Seiffen in Germany, which many consider to be the ‘Home of Christmas’ because of the beautiful and distinctive designs and the history that is behind their famous decorations.
