Pretty Nostalgic magazine is an independent bi-monthly vintage lifestyle magazine that celebrates nostalgic and sustainable ways of living. We passionately support independent British makers and love seeking out unique, eclectic homes and meeting people who love life and live by their own rules. The magazine is packed with inspiration to help make your house a home, to fill your kitchen with homegrown and foraged food, to inspire you to reuse and upcycle and to make every day an adventure. It is a handbook for creative, curious and resourceful folk who yearn for a simple, stylish and sustainable lifestyle.
We're particularly proud of our Christmas issue, especially our hand-stitched cover made entirely from leftover vintage fabrics. But mainly, we've really enjoyed getting to the root of what Christmas means, focusing on our motto: spend wisely, waste less, appreciate more. Spending wisely is all about supporting local makers; wasting less celebrates thrift: making wreaths from hedgerow finds, creating a foraged centrepiece and collecting vintage baubles. Appreciating more is all about celebrating life's simple pleasures: comforting winter grub, mulled wine and filling your pockets with shells.
Editor Jo is over the moon to be attending Christmas at the Orangery (she's been locked up in an office working on the new magazine for far too long now!) and will be bringing along a stash of limited edition Pretty Nostalgic goody bags (get there early!) and an exclusive subscription offer especially for visitors to the fair.
