Fiona Willis has always been a serious doodler rather than an artist and although she has spent most of her life not drawing, she has always doodled. A few years ago she met some lovely people who encouraged her to take her doodles a little more seriously. Her mother used a rapidograph pen for her job as a draughts-woman, so as a child Fiona was always fiddling with them, shaking the ink down the pen as she did. For most of her pictures she use her pens to highlight the detail in her illustrations. Fiona's cards are sold in many galleries and retail outlets around the country, including Wisley, Salts Mill and Heligan.
