We offer a unique combination of physical, emotional and spiritual support – designed to work alongside medical treatment –to improve health and wellbeing. We can only offer these services free of charge thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

Shop@PennyBrohn is the official shop of Penny Brohn Cancer Care and we offer a wide range of products that will help support a healthy lifestyle – as well as a range of beautiful gifts and tempting treats.

All of our products are natural, free from chemicals and, wherever possible, organic. We try to use suppliers local to our national centre in Bristol; some who donate a percentage of their profits to the charity.

We have an extensive food & nutrition book section to help you make the right dietary choices, as well as volumes on complementary therapies, wisdom and a selection of beautiful journals.

Our Bodycare and Lifestyle ranges are packed with essential and indulgent products – from handmade soaps to aromatherapy kits – ideal for treating yourself or as a gift for someone special. Our dedicated Gift range has even more wonderful present ideas, including beautiful jewellery and fun items for the children.

Our shop is manned by volunteers, and every penny of profit is reinvested in the charity’s work. So, by shopping with us you will be making a real difference to the lives of people living with cancer.

Referred to recently as “one of Bath’s many well kept publishing secrets”, illustrator and creator of the Rosie Flo’s colouring books, Roz Streeten, lives and works in Bath.

It was Roz’s observation of her own young daughters’ obsession and focus with drawing and colouring that led to the first Rosie Flo book being printed, back in 2004. Her daughter Sophie, now aged 16, would constantly ask “Mummy, please can you draw me some dresses?”  Sophie loved drawing in the heads, legs and arms, paying real attention to the facial expressions. Younger sister Sasha, aged 12 also requested dresses a few years later, her passion being more about the colouring-in aspect. This inspired Roz to create a book with their two obsessions in mind.

The name Rosie Flo evolved from the girls’ middle names combined and these unusual books are filled with beautiful line drawn dresses enabling children to colour and draw — just as they like. Other products for children to colour have evolved out of the success of the colouring books – a prize winning colouring Fashion Show, colouring postcards, posters and our new Rosie Flo’s Colouring Christmas Decorations.

With her graphic designer husband Steve Kamlish, a publishing business venture evolved. Five years ago they moved from London, Camden, and now live in Bath, Camden. They both enjoy living in the west country where Roz currently teaches part time at Bath Spa College of Art. She also gets involved visiting local schools to talk about her work and recently ran a workshop for the very young at the Bath Kids Literary Festival.

The company of award-winning British designer Ella Doran specializes in the surface design of distinctive home accessories and furnishings. In the 1990s Ella Doran made a name for herself with colourful placemats and coasters, creating innovative designs through her recognizable photography-based images and patterns.

Stimulated by an ongoing close collaboration with retailers and manufacturers, the Ella Doran product portfolio of modern home accessories and colourful homewares has since expanded considerably. Besides placemats and coasters, it now includes trays, ceramic tableware, cushions and umbrellas as well as paper products, such as diaries, greeting cards, calendars, gift wrap/bags and wallpapers.
Drawing inspiration from the world around her, at home or abroad, Ella Doran creates new designs every season for her portfolio of home accessories and furnishing. All of her designs are suffused by her passion for colour, texture and the effects of sunlight. Ella insists on using high-quality materials that enhance the meaning of her designs, which often play with cultural icons and associations.

Ella Doran designs are sometimes nostalgic, as for instance this season’s popular PorTables collection of ‘vintage portable record players’ for cushions and placemats, or timeless, such as the iconic ‘sunlight through leaves’ design for wallpapers and roller blinds.
